Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
This policy is part of the Workloom Terms of Service. It says what you may not do with Workloom. We may update it; the Terms say how. If you break it, we may remove content, hold or stop messages, or suspend or close the account (Terms, Section 3(15)). Report abuse to info@useworkloom.com.
Sending, calling and messaging
You may not:
- send email, texts, WhatsApp, Telegram or LinkedIn messages, or make calls, to people without the consent or other lawful basis the law requires where they are;
- contact a person who has opted out, or try to get round an opt-out (for example by sending from another workspace, sender or channel, or by re-adding them under another address);
- send email without a working unsubscribe for marketing, with a false or misleading sender, subject or header, or from a domain or number you are not allowed to use;
- buy, rent or scrape lists of email addresses or phone numbers to message people who never dealt with you, except business contacts used for lawful business-to-business outreach;
- use the Services to send messages that are illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful or that a reasonable person would find abusive, or to send phishing, malware or links that hide their destination;
- spread sending across many accounts, mailboxes, numbers or domains to get round a provider's limits or a spam filter, or warm up or rotate mailboxes to hide who is sending;
- make calls with an artificial or recorded voice, or a cloned voice, without the consent and the disclosures the law requires, or use a cloned voice of anyone but yourself;
- send a first WhatsApp message to someone who has not chosen to hear from you;
- break the rules of a channel you use through Workloom (WhatsApp's Business and Commerce policies, LinkedIn's user agreement, the rules of your carrier and of mailbox providers).
Workloom enforces opt-outs and some sending rules itself. They help; they do not make your sending lawful.
Data
You may not:
- upload, enrich or reveal data you have no right to use, or use contact data for anything but lawful business-to-business sales, marketing and recruiting;
- use any data from Workloom for decisions about a person's eligibility for credit, insurance, housing or employment, or for any purpose that the US Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar laws govern;
- collect or upload special-category or sensitive data (health, religion, sexual life, biometrics, government ID numbers, financial account numbers) unless a feature is built for it and the law allows it;
- copy, export or scrape the prospect database in bulk, resell it, or build a competing database or dataset from it;
- use any data, output or contact from Workloom to train, fine-tune or improve an AI model outside Workloom;
- track people across sites, or identify visitors, in ways your visitors have not been told of or agreed to where the law requires it.
AI
You may not use Wren or any AI feature:
- to deceive people about who or what they are talking to, where the law or a reasonable person would expect to be told, or to impersonate a real person;
- to create content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, content that sexualises a real person without consent, or content that promotes violence;
- to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person without a human review;
- to get round the features' safety limits or to extract the instructions, prompts or models behind them.
Pages, sites and content you publish
You may not publish pages, forms, sites, newsletters, documents or Builder pieces that: break the law or another's rights; collect passwords or payment card numbers outside a payment provider's own form; carry malware; pretend to be another business; or hide from visitors that they are being tracked where the law requires them to be told. Cookie consent on your pages is your decision and your responsibility: we offer a banner and recommend it.
The Services
You may not: probe, scan or test the Services' security without our written permission; overload them or get round limits, credits or rate limits; share a seat between people; reach the Services by automated means other than our API and tools; or use them on behalf of anyone sanctioned under Indian, US, EU or UK law.
