VOICE INFRASTRUCTURE

Most dials aren't conversations. The system should know that.

Your reps lose live selling time to ringing, machines, voicemail and handoffs between tools.

Voice only works when the stack can tell a live pickup from dead air, protect every number from prohibited calls, and carry the conversation into the pipeline. Workloom provisions the numbers, runs the dialer, detects machines, records and transcribes calls, then turns the result into notes, a next step and a pipeline move. No bolted-on handoff.

Keep reps out of dead air

A rep shouldn't spend live time listening to ringing, machine greetings or dead air. Workloom holds the phone numbers and puts click-to-call in the browser, so the path from prospect to dial stays inside the stack. See how that fits the broader outreach system.

The number, dial and pickup state belong to the same system. There isn't a separate vendor handoff between the contact record and the call.

WHAT THE DIALER SKIPS

Machines don't get a rep

The dialer detects answering machines and connects a rep only when a human actually picks up. Voicemail drop handles the recorded message. Automatic skip keeps the rep moving instead of holding on dead air.

Do-not-call is a hard block on every dial path. Calls also respect the prospect's local hours. The calling rules live in the infrastructure, not in a checklist beside it. More on the underlying infrastructure.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CALL

A call becomes pipeline work

Calls are recorded and transcribed. The system turns the conversation into notes, a next step and a pipeline move, so the result doesn't disappear when the rep hangs up.

That post-call record is part of the same owned stack as the number and dialer. The handoff into platform is built in, not bolted on.

What operators ask first

Who provisions and holds the phone numbers?

Workloom provisions and holds the numbers. Reps can click to call directly from the browser.

What happens when a machine answers?

The dialer detects the answering machine, skips the dead air and can use a voicemail drop. A rep connects only when a human picks up.

What does the call become after it ends?

The call is recorded and transcribed, then turned into notes, a next step and a pipeline move.
